JESUS

 Jesus is the Lamb of God, He's pure as the snow.

Everywhere Jesus went, people were sure to follow.

They either came to heckle Him or call Him names.

Some were true believers who wanted to hear what He had to say. 

He had 12 disciples, who followed Him and preached the Word.

The religious and government leaders of the time called Him a false prophet,

And said he should be scourged.

He did miracles in front of many people, raised the dead, healed the sick, restored sight to the blind.

He even turned water into wine.

He threw the moneychangers out of the temple--it was His Father's house, and they should not be there.

When one of His disciples got mad and cut off a soldier's ear, Jesus sad that's not the way,

And restored the man his ear.

He took all the cruelty, hatred, and beatings given Him, for that was God's plan.

That His only Son should come to earth, preach the word. and then die to save us all from the sins of man.

There have been many important people through the centuries of time,

But nothing they have done will surpass our Lord Jesus Christ.
