Your heart torn to pieces, like a broken mirror's shards of glass.
The ties of closeness and trust you once had have been burned to ash.
It can happen all at once, or gradually over time.
However, and whenever it happens--you can't believe you were so blind.
The memories of times spent together now leave a bitter taste.
All the time together and the caring and closeness, were just a waste.
Pray to God to heal your heart, mind, and soul.
Only His love and grace can make you feel completely whole.
Don't stop being kind and helpful to others because someone hurt you,
Don't let the devil win, it will only mean more pain for you.
God is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning, and the End.
He's the one to trust in, and on whom you can depend.
