Is your life turning out how you want it to be?
Have you achieved the goals you set each time,
Stayed out of trouble, and applied yourself to your studies?
Are you following your dreams, or the dreams
Your parents have for you? Make sure you know--
Or when you least expect it, things come apart at the seams.
You can go to college to get a degree,
But that doesn't always guarantee the job
You get will go with your field of study.
You never know what will happen in the workforce.
Strikes, layoffs, closures from damage, or just completely close.
And you'll still have bills to pay, of course.
If your life is going the way you want it to,
Then stick with the plans you've made
And follow them through.
If it's not working, it's time to make a change.
Go back to school at night or online, learn something new.
And start in a different field and a whole new range.
