High up in the mountains, they stand like sentinels--
Covered in white, silently guarding their home.
A smooth sheet of ice covers the lake.
A feeling of peace fills your soul.
Though the scenery and serenity are beautiful,
They can be treacherous too.
If you don't know the terrain and aren't prepared--don't
Go off by yourself, they may never find you.
Seeing the beauty of God's creatures in their natural
Habitat is a sight to behold. Don't startle or try
And make friends--they are wild, you know.
The best thing to do is to quietly drink in the peace and
The beauty, never go alone,take some breathtaking
Photos, and leave it as you found it and God intended
It to be: A natural Cathedral, the sentinels guarding.
