MUSIC

It always leaves me amazed at how many people are blessed with the talent to take an event

of either joy or sadness from their lives and write a beautiful and moving song about it.  They

put their feelings about it on paper and set it to music because it makes people feel something.

Others get an idea for a song and work and build on it and get it set to the right music and have

 a great song.  There are others who write poetry like the Poet Laureate of the United States

who write verse that gets people where they live, and comments on our problems.  

If they ever decide to stop funding and teaching the Arts, that would be a bad idea.  Art is the way 

people follow their dreams and create beauty and entertainment for everyone.

The parents of each generation always have a problem with the music their kids love.  Saying

it's only bingity bang noise.  The irony is that some of those songs are considered beautifully

written classics and have been covered by artists of all different genres.  You can write beautiful

music that makes a point without putting vulgarity, lewdness and threats in the lyrics.

Music is a universal language that people can connec to.
