Does it ever cross your mind of Christmases past?
The fun of gathering with family and friends,
Tables full of wonderful food, singing carols, opening gifts--
Wishing it all would never end.
Does the memory of a special loved one come to mind, who
Always made Christmas extra special just by being there?
The joy of the memory of them making you smile and happy
Because you had the privilege of them in your life--and missing
Them also makes you shed many tears?
Does it ever cross your mind that the real reason we
Celebrate Christmas is because Christ was born? God gave
His only Son to us to save us from our sins because of His
Unconditional love for us. The way to salvation was laid.
Your special someone you miss is not only celebrating Christmas
In Heaven with God and Christ, they're also with you in spirit.
Even though they're gone, they're always in your heart forever,
And they still love you more than ever.
