WORLD PANDEMIC

There is a pandemic everywhere in our world.
It has gotten worse as time passes, not abated.
It touches everyone, everywhere in some way.
There is no vaccine, Dr's. can't eradicate it.

It was begun by humans at the beginning.
It is perpetuated by  humans to others.
It harms total strangers, and there is
Record of it dividing brothers.

It has many symptoms--but some are
Well known:  Ignorance, Intolerance, and
Violence and Hate.  And, some might say, fear.
Everyone agrees it needs to stop--make a line in the sand.

Sometimes it's citizens wanting to take control.
Sometimes it's the government leaders that
Are crooked and rob their people.  Some don't
Like people's heritage, and kill them for that.

They call it "ethnic cleansing".  It's happened
Before and then it was called genocide.
We don't want that happening again.  People
Are haunted by memories of evil and no goodbyes.

Families separated permanently, some
Children see their parents killed before
Their eyes.  Some families hide underground
For safety and pray they're saved from terror.

Someone, somewhere, somehow needs to
Take a stand to stop all this insanity.
God created us all to be who we are and
To be safe, live our lives, and be free,
