THE DRESS

Floor length ivory tulle with an ivory
Lace overlay, with a court train.
Bateau neckline with long sleeves made
Of the ivory lace only, not too plain.

A-line shaped dress--not too tight,
Not too loose.  A perfect fit.  Still
Can't decide about the veil.  A short
One, or just a band of flowers--simple.

There will be some pearls sewn
Onto the lace overlay in random
Style, no specific pattern.  Pearl studs for
My ears, and a short pearl necklace to match them.

For my shoes, something comfortable-definitely
NO spike heels.  Something dressy and low heeled
In a nude or champagne color.  Maybe I'll go
Barefoot!!  With Mom, that could get me killed.

My colors are cream/ivory, and depending the
Time of year, either dark purple or a light
Lavender.  You know I gotta have my purple!!
My bouquet, violets and carnations in cream or white.

It's okay to dream--that's what this is.
People dream about all kinds of things.
Just never give up on your dreams--
