PAIN

Every injury, illness, cruel act or loss
Carry their own pain.  You can't lump them
All together under one label.  Two people
May feel the same pain differently--it depends.

One person may feel injury or illness with only
Minor discomfort, while another with the same
Problem may have to miss work or school due to
The severity of how bad and intense the pain.

Cruel acts always inflict pain.  Why people
Act that way is beyond me.  Some who are
The targets, ignore them, some get upset and
Cry, some can't deal with it and go too far.

When someone loses someone they love--it can
Be very painful, like your heart is ripped out.
Everyone grieves differently and at different depths.
No set time frame.  Others have their ideas, no doubt.

What I wonder, is what type and level of
Pain do those who cause people to kill
Themselves or others feel when they see
What they caused.  That would be a bitter pill.
