GOING HOME AGAIN?

People say "You can't go home again".
Maybe so, then again--maybe not so.
You can go to your hometown and visit
Family and friends, but then you go.

Sometimes when people go home for a
Visit, they are reminded of the peace
And quiet and how relaxing their hometown
Can be.  So they move back, stress release.

Things aren't exactly the same as when
You grew up there--progress saw to that.
But there's still a feeling of homecoming
That slowly draws you back.

And even if you can't physically go back,
The memories of growing up there and
The fun you had as a child will still bring
A smile to your face, if you're sad.

No, you can't go home and relive
Your childhood again--no going back
In time.  But the memories you carry
In your heart and mind take you back.
