TECHNOLOGY

Technology is advancing, you see it
Everywhere.  But what about the
People who lose their jobs to machines, what
Happens after the pink slip saying goodbye?

Some are at a loss, they've had their
Job for years, others go into a
Depression for which they need help.
Some go back to school if able with finances.

Others just decide to retire--they
Feel they've earned it, and if they
Get a new job, another machine
Or young tech whiz will replace them.

We have a love/hate relationship
With technology.  Yes it makes
Things easier,  but steals our
Livelihood, causing heartaches.

And sometimes, when there's a
Glitch in the technology, you
Have to do things old school, and
The young techs don't know what to do.

It would be nice if the two
Could work together, so that no
One loses their jobs.  They may have
To think old school and see how it goes.
