It is sad when anyone passes.
What is sad and despicable is when
The "loving family" of someone of
Wealth passes--and the battles begin.

They never really had much time
For their relative when they were
Alive.  But they show up at the hospital
Or funeral home to make friends of the lawyer.

Sometimes, the caregiver/companion is
The only one who really cared.  They
Are more heartbroken at the person's
Passing, after being with them everyday.

It's really sad that family can't
Visit one another or call sometimes.
Instead they wait till they've passed,
And out of the woodwork they climb.

What they seem to forget is that the
Deceased person had a will stating
THEIR wishes, not everyone else's.  Make
It iron-clad, then there will be weeping and wailing.
