MY SAFE HARBOR

When I feel alone, unloved and unwanted,
You remind me that I'm none of those things--
I'm one of Your precious children, and
You will always take care of everything.

When no one wants to listen--you're
Beside me, and as the song says--
You walk and talk with me in the garden,
All burdens and worries simply fade.

You remind me to stand against evil,
And choose the right path with You
As my guide.  Along the way, I may get
Weary--but you'll carry me as you always do.

When I'm sad and weeping--You
Lend Your shoulder until my weeping
Ends.  No matter how sad and depressed
I get, I'm always in Your keeping.

You always answer the things I ask You.
Maybe not in the way or time frame I expect--
But I know to accept the answer You give me,
For I know You know what's best.

You are my Lord and Savior, my
Safe Harbor, and my Home.
And from Your love and guidance,
I will never roam.
