These tears I weep--
Are from the pain I keep.
Locked inside me forever.
All anger and sadness that I feel--
I always try to conceal.
By staying in the shadows.
No one but God wants to know--
He's the only one that doesn't go.
He is my Salvation.
I've been betrayed by family and friends--
The shock wears off, but the pain won't end.
Thank You God for loving me.
When I try to do what I feel is right--
I'm met by anger, and it keeps me up at night.
No peaceful slumber for me.
When I offer my help to someone--
They get upset and accept none.
How can you help if no one let's you?
My health is impaired--
People think I'm just weak or scared,
They don't really know me.
My God is always at my side--
With Him I have no need to hide.
He really knows me.
