MAKE SURE THEY KNOW

Always make sure the people you care
About know you love them--never assume
They know.  Actions they say, speak louder
Than words.  But those 3 words mean a lot too.

When someone passes and you never tell
Them how you feel, the guilt and sadness
Stays with you forever.  Even someone with
Dementia needs to be told.  Their heart hears.

Never let anyone feel unsure how you
Feel.  From the elderly to small children,
And yes--pets need to be told they're loved
Too.  Animals feel grief too, they understand.

We all know God loves us unconditionally.
As humans, we're not that perfect by far.
But make sure people know you love them--
As God told us beneath a shining star.
