INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER

How many people would do the right
Thing, even if it's not popular?
I'm not talking politics--but every
Day people with integrity and character.

Not people who would do the right
Thing only if there's something in
It for them.  That's called greed.  But
People who do it for the good it brings.

With so many awful things going on
In the world, when you see people
Helping each other just to help, it can
Make you weep.  Some caring for the feeble.

Medical personnel go where needed.
People who have all kinds of jobs
Do whatever they can wherever they can.
That's doing the right thing just because.

Character and integrity are good
Traits to have.  Add honesty to
Them, and you'll be able to withstand
Insults and lies you know aren't true.
