The heavenly choir is ready,
The stars shining extra bright.
Candlelit Christmas Eve services to honor
The Christ child born Christmas night.
A time for families to come together
And have the Christmas Story read.
Everyone listening closely to the words
Of how our Savior was born in a manger bed.
Some families sing Christmas carols,
Others take gifts to friends--
The true meaning of Christmas: God's
Gift to us, His love and kindness never ends.
There is something wonderful
In the air this time of year.
Love, Hope, and Kindness--
For everyone to share.
Time to make amends with those
From whom you've been estranged.
Let God's love spread around the world,
Our hearts and souls forever changed.
