WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

I know that people have been killing
People since the beginning of time.
What I want to know is how and why we are
Murdering people for no reason in their prime.

People do drive-bys and get the wrong
House, or their bullets ricochet into
An innocent child as she sleeps, killing her.
She had so much in life that she could do.

An old man walking home from the store,
Meets a man who had just murdered several
People--and the man video tapes killing the old
Man and posts it online with pride.  Evil.

These days when people argue, be it family,
Friends, or strangers--instead of walking
Away or suing, they just shoot them where
They stand.  What happened to talking?

You can be walking down the street
And someone drives by, doesn't like
The way you look, dress, or anything.
And you're gone, and no reason why.

No one should have to be concerned
About being killed just going to
School or work.  Life is tough enough
Without that added to it.  Lord tell us what to do.
