In this crazy, hectic world,
Why do we rush getting ready
For the holidays? Retailers
Do it because they want the money.
Spreading Christmas shopping through
The year reduces stress, mobs, and fights
Over the last thing on the shelf. It saves
Your nerves and makes everything feel right.
The decorating so early--can drive
People mad. One house still has their
Halloween decorations out, while down
The street, one has Christmas lights everywhere.
We've barely passed Halloween, and
Thanksgiving is yet to come.
Christmas spirit is wonderful--but
Starting too early angers some.
We need the Christmas Spirit
All year through--showing kindness,
Love and cheer to friends, family,
And strangers too. You'll be doubly blessed.
ALWAYS REMEMBER: JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.
