Why can't we achieve world peace?
Why can't our government do their job?
Why can't people be civil to each other?
Why can't we heal our country's divisions?
Because there are too many people who would
Rather argue and name call and act their
Shoe size instead of their IQ. They like to
Nitpick things instead of compromise and share.
Why will no one let go of long held hatreds
And grudges, so people will feel safe in their homes?
Our skin may be different colors--but God made us all.
We're all humans, just skin and bones.
We came together once to start this
Nation--why can't we come
Together regardless of political party,
Or troublemakers, and heal our nation again?
