Sometimes things come together,
Sometimes they don't.
Sometimes you'll catch the brass
Ring--sometimes you won't.
Doesn't matter if it's a job you want,
Or a relationship you're in.
Whatever it is, if you don't get it--
Regroup and start over again.
Sometimes kids want candy--
What they get are healthy snacks.
Sometimes you learn someone you
Trusted, has stabbed you in the back.
Sometimes you just need to hear
That someone cares and has your back.
Just knowing that can help get
You back on track.
Sometimes you may forget that
God is always near and
Hears whatever you want to say.
He's always guiding you by the hand.
