Wouldn't it be wonderful
If all the countries in
The world put their energy,
Finances, and knowledge into curing
Diseases, not killing their fellow man?
Put anger and hatred aside
And focus on curing humans
Of Cancer, Alzheimer's, Diabetes,
ALS, Heart Disease, any others
You can think of--their threats to cease.
Working together to stop famine,
And make sure everyone has
Clean water to drink and cook
With as well as bathe in, and
Keeping alive traditions of the past.
If practically every country
Can come together in friendly
Camaraderie for a moment in time
At the Olympics and learn about
Each others cultures and histories--
Then why can't we be smart enough
And brave enough to come together
Putting all politics and egos aside
To make this world we live in
Cleaner, healthier--better?
Can you imagine the impact
Doing this would have on
Future generations? Showing
That all people can work together
For good and not be in competition?
