This Christmas, as in other
Years, we celebrate the birth
Of Christ--our Lord and Savior.
He came to save us here on earth.
He is the Light of the world--
He brings Hope to the hopeless,
Love and care to those who
Feel empty and worthless.
Our world is in chaos, now.
Some have turned their backs
On God--thinking they know
Better. Faith is what they lack.
God can work miracles, many
Around the world have been
Witnesses to that fact. Prayer
Is a powerful thing, it's proven.
People who aren't believers
Celebrate Christmas in the
Commercial way--presents
Everywhere, toys the latest ones.
All you really need for Christmas
Is family, love, the spirit of giving--
Not necessarily receiving, and most important,
Jesus in our hearts and thanksgiving.
Pray for those who don't know Christ,
You don't have to be politically correct
By saying "Happy Holidays". It's the
Birthday of our Lord--what's political in that?
We will always say "Merry Christmas"
At this time of year--because Christ
Is the reason for the season, and
Happy Holidays isn't quite right.
