DON'T TELL ME

Don't tell me there's no God--
He's the reason we're all here.
Jesus died on the cross for our
Sins, so our slates are clear.

Don't tell me the Bible is full of lies
That didn't happen or were never said--
Especially if it's a book that
You've certainly never read.

If you say there is no God--
Then why protest us speaking
His name?  You talk of unreal
Zombies and ghosts at Halloween.

You say there's no such thing as miracles,
My friend I feel sorry for you, your eyes are
As closed as your mind.  I've seen people healed
When even doctors didn't know what to do.

You don't believe in the power
Of prayer--you say it's not true,
I've seen the results of prayer--
Try it sometime, it won't hurt you.
