ANIMAL ABUSE

Holding a live puppy by it's tail.
Laughing while he splits it open--
He needs to be put in jail.

News reports of an industry that
Grows rabbits only for their fur.
Tearing the fur off live rabbits, ignoring
Their screams of pain and fear.

A family's pet dog is missing--
Found by a neighbor in a ditch.
It had been shot and tortured
By some sick son of a bitch.

We hear these stories and see
These pictures all the time.
When will a law be passed
Making it a crime?

In Kansas there is Magnum's Law.
Named after a puppy doused in
Acid.  Cruelty/abuse of animals
Is a felony.  A fine and  year in prison.

These people should get thrown in jail--
See how they like being abused.
They won't be laughing about it,
Animal abuse isn't funny, there is no excuse.

The picture of the teen killing the
Puppy haunts me every day.
The puppy didn't deserve that, the kid
Should be locked up and the key thrown away.
