FAITH IN GOD

I heard a sermon preached today,
About 3 brave young men.
I first heard of them growing up
In Sunday School--they wouldn't bend.

Their names were Shadrach, Meshach,
And Abednego.  They refused to bow
Down and worship a golden idol built
By King Nebuchadnezzar, and told him so.

Even though they knew they would be
Thrown into a fiery furnace to burn to
Death, they didn't change their minds.
Their faith was strong, they still refused.

The heat was so fierce it killed the
Soldiers who put them in the furnace.
Three went in, but the king saw four.  God
Came and protected them in His embrace.

When they came out--there were
Only three.  No sign of burns on
Them or their clothes.  The fourth
Person from the fire was gone.

This is just one instance where steadfast
Faith keeps us strong when under attack.
If you stop and think about it---
God ALWAYS has our backs.

Isn't it past time we had His?
