SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

There was a song in the Sixties--
"Put A Little Love In Your Heart".
If everyone around the world did that,
Countries and families would never get torn apart.

Replace hate and violence with
Kindness, love, and tolerance.
Instead of tearing down and destroying--
Build up with help and encouragement.

The Bible doesn't say go forth and
Do harm.  It says to love your neighbor,
And make sure your own house is in
Order before butting in on others.

No one is better than anyone else.
We are all created equally and all
Lives matter.  Everyone is beautiful--
Whether thin, fat, short or tall.

Show kindness in your words--
The tongue has no sharp edges,
But can cut to the bone when used
Incorrectly, and can drive wedges.

So as one year comes to an end
And a new one is about to start--
Do as the song says, and "Put
A Little Love In Your Heart".
