At this time of year, everyone
Is busy running left and right--
Christmas shopping and trying to
Outdo their neighbors Christmas lights.
People do acts of kindness
For those they don't know--
Leaving the recipient's hearts
With a bright, warm glow.
We shouldn't only do this
At Christmas, but all year through.
God is love and kindness, and
His light comes through you.
God's love is unconditional--
His grace lights our way.
It's not only at Christmas,
But every single day.
When you help someone in need,
You may be helping an angel unaware.
Everyone needs help sometimes
With the burdens that they bear.
So let's make sure everyday
Is a day of love and light--
Like the star that shined
At Christ's birth that night.
