Bombings, riots, murders committed for no
Good reason, teachers having sex with
Students, some police officers using
Excessive force,crooked politicians pleading the fifth.
People having to leave their homes
Because their homeland is no longer safe.
People so hardened they rob people who lay
Dying, and don't get them help. So much hate.
Humans being kidnapped and sold for sexual
Slavery. People being judged by how they act
Or believe or wear. The legal system has judges,
But there is only one final judge--that is fact.
We have made a mess of things,
Some can be fixed, others can't.
Forming groups to save endangered animals,
Rain forests, reserves, and plants.
NOW is the time the world
Needs God more than ever.
We've always needed Him, but lately we're
Overrun with pompous people who think they're clever.
Everyone, everywhere should get
On their knees and ask God for
Not only help--but forgiveness.
And mean it from their very core.
