To get yourself grounded and centered--
What do you do?
We're all the same, but different,
In what soothes and comforts us.
Keeping ourselves centered and calm,
Should be everyone's definite must.
Some people listen to music,
Some like to look at the stars.
Some like to take long, scenic
Drives in their cars.
Some people take walks in order
To stay calm. Whether in the country,
The city, or on a quiet beach--
Let go and set your stress free.
Some choose time alone in meditation,
Or prayers and reading devotions or the Bible.
Having a way to soothe and calm ourselves
Is important to our survival.
So ponder this question,
And see what you find--
What do you do to soothe yourself
And get peace of mind?
