Have a favorite memory
Of a time with your Mom that
Brings a smile or makes you giggly?
Mother's leave memories with us
Whether they're here, or sadly passed away.
They pop into our heads unexpectedly,
All the time, every single day.
Something you would do together,
Or maybe a certain phrase
She used over and over--
That stayed in your mind for days.
Playing tea party,
Or dress-up, getting ready
For prom, or your wedding--
In good times or bad, keeping you steady.
Make sure you remember
To tell your Mom you love
Her as often as you can--
Whether she's here or in Heaven above.
When you become a parent,
Be the best one you can be--
So when your child is grown,
They'll have good memories.
