Another young child died today.
They found their parent's gun
And thought it was for play.
Sometimes it's the Daycare Givers,
Or the Grandparents weapon--
No matter whose--tragedy is delivered.
This is not about the right to bear arms.
It's about responsibility, common sense,
And keeping an innocent child safe from harm.
The grandparents of the child who died
Hid the gun under a pillow for safety.
Now they face criminal charges as they cry.
If you have weapons and small children--
Keep the weapons locked away where kids
Can't find them and kill themselves or a friend.
So many little children have died
This way--no chance to live their lives.
Now safely in Heaven with God they abide.
