CONVERSATION

It's sad to say that conversation
Is a fast disappearing art.
Today they text, send e-mails--
Even if they're only 3 feet apart.

The only time you hear conversation,
It's not really that at all--
People yell and get in each others face,
Or end up in a court of law.

We tell children to use their indoor
Voices--adults need to hear that too.
Some people yell so loud, it's like
The human equivalent of a sonic boom.

We need to learn to talk to each other,
Without yelling all the time.
Spend quality time with family--talk to
Them about staying free of crime.

If more people were willing
To talk instead of yell--
It might save millions from
Living a life in hell.
