If Only------

Some will say it's crazy,
An absolutely foolish idea.
Others will see it as a goal--
The ideal panacea.

With all the technology
We have in the world today,
Sending men and telescopes
Into space--help us find a way.

If only we could come up with
A way that the flood waters in the East
Could be transported to the West to help
With the drought and drown the wildfire beast.

It's only wishful thinking--but
It would certainly be a help,
To get the water where it's needed--
Without causing mudslides and being overwhelmed.

In a perfect world we could do this,
We all know we're FAR from that.
We're too busy destroying the earth
To work for ways to save our habitat.
