As we get older, our vision may fade,
Our minds may get foggy and forgetful--
But our memories stay alive,
We have a heart full.
We spend a lot of time and money
To fill our minds with information,
But sometimes we forget to
Fill our hearts with inspiration.
It doesn't matter the size
Of your heart's inspiration--
Big things, small things, memories
Passed to each generation.
When you are older and your
Mind starts to slow---
The memories in your heart
Begin to brightly glow.
