Some people don't
Believe in God--
That's their right, but complaining
If others do is odd.
They took God and prayer
Out of schools, and put in
Metal detectors, security and
Lock downs and defense lessons.
Separation of Church and State,
All government buildings in DC
Have Biblical quotes on them--
Too bad politicians can't read.
But if you notice when it's
Election time, candidates
Will speak at Sunday Services--
That's not separating Church and State.
It's absolutely ridiculous
When a school band is removed
From the program for wanting to play
A hymn. That decision should be booed.
I'd rather have a president
Who believes in God and prayer,
And asks God's guidance
When hard decisions come to bear.
Our president and first lady
Should also know which hand is placed
Over your heart whenever the
National Anthem is played.
The bottom line is this:
We need God and prayer back
In our country and schools--they're the
Main ingredient we cannot lack.
