Collection agencies
Have one main goal--
To collect money owed a company
By whatever means necessary, hateful and low.

They don't care if you're broke,
Or if you've been ill--
They'll tell you to give plasma
To get money for the bill.

They call and harass you
Several times a week.
They are rude and cut throat--
And they don't give a (bleep).

They'll say they understand
You have no money right now,
But keep pressing for payment
And a date for it anyhow.

These places call from different
Countries--they're outsourced you see,
They don't always check time zones, they call
On Sundays, whatever they please.

You know you owe the money,
You don't deny that.
But their constant harassment
And tactics can cause strokes or heart attacks.

They need a set of laws
With no loopholes to follow
And not make people feel
The need to grovel or wallow.

They need to treat people
With respect so they can keep
Their dignity--that's not too much to ask.
Remember what you sow, you reap.
