Red for the blood shed
To keep our country free.
White for the tombstones
In a military cemetery.
Blue is for a mourning
Family and nation--
The sound of Taps
Fits the solemn occasion.
Every member of our military
Is a hero to all--
Putting their lives on the line.
Whether they come back, are captured, or fall.
People who haven't gone through
It can't seem to understand--
The bravery shown during battle,
Mixed with fear and survival in foreign lands.
They deserve our respect,
Support and loyalty.
The best medical treatment
For ALL wounds, including PTSD.
Our nation has it's problems,
As all nations do--
But we'll defend the honor
Of the Red, White, and Blue.
