The laugh of a child,
Hearing your favorite song--
Puppy kisses, a loved one's hug,
Feelings and memories that last all lifetime long.
Knowing you're loved and supported
In the things that you do,
Having friends that love you
And your craziness and moods.
Doing random acts of kindness,
Praying for someone in need.
Doing things for others anonymously,
Not wanting attention for your deeds.
No grand, eloquent honors
With fancy parties and clothes--
The simple things are the best in life,
No need to impress--God knows.
