Domestic abuse, murder,
Bombings and terrorist attacks
Around the world--sounds like
Movie plots, but they're the facts.
Racial profiling, religious persecution,
Discrimination, drugs crossing borders--
People die of overdoses, suicides because
Of bullying, illegal gun deals on government orders.
Environmental problems that destroy
Natural animal habitats. Inept leaders
Who do a poor job, can't agree on anything--
Reminds you of bottom feeders.
This is the world future generations
Will have to live in.
Not just the country is divided--
The world is in a downward spin.
We need to pray to God, stand strong
In our faith and convictions--
And maybe we can leave them a world
With no politically correct restrictions.
