No One Cares But God

Nobody understands,
Nobody cares.
Why should they--it's
Your problem not theirs.

If you try to explain,
You're a victim or a whiner.
If it's not about them,
It's trivial or minor.

Whether it's illness
Or hurts to your heart
That left permanent scars,
Those are secrets you can't impart.

God above is the only one
Who understands what's wrong.
He hears and feels your pain
And helps you stay strong.

They say "talk about your problems"
To help you heal--
Most people don't even
Believe they're real.

So just keep it all
Between you and God.
He understands and loves you,
And won't think you're odd.

Pray to Him about your hurt
And your pain--
He'll help you stay balanced
And not go insane.
