Don't ever think
You're a know-it-all.
Always remember,
Pride goeth before a fall.

You may be intelligent,
And understand difficult things--
But you're not put on this earth
Your own praises to sing.

You can do some things
Others can't do.
And be totally perplexed
On common sense issues.

Don't say your way is
The only way to go--
That''s not leadership,
But arrogance you show.

Don't do something to
Get your ego stroked and be admired.
Do something for the greater good--
So minds will be inspired.

Treat others kindly,
As most people do.
But don't let your guard down, there are
Greedy types wanting to destroy you.

The best mix is intelligence
And common sense combined.
Used together, we'll be
Amazed at what we find.
