Dear Father God in Heaven,
We offer up this prayer
For this world we live in--
Evil is pushing to take over,
Killing innocent people without care.
It's not just in our country,
It's all around the world.
Some attacks are spontaneous,
Some meticulously planned out. All are
Horrific whether it's shooting guns or bombs hurled.
They say this is done in Your name.
That I very much doubt.
Every faith has a different
Name for you, but all agree
Love and kindness is what you're all about.
They videotape be-headings,
The devil's work for sure.
They threaten those whose beliefs are different,
And brainwash recruits from everywhere
To kill anyone, even children innocent and pure.
The Bible tells us in Revelations
This is how the end of days comes about.
We basically destroy each other trying
To keep the devil and his armies down.
Keep us strong in our faith so that no one can doubt.
In Jesus name, Amen.
