You Get What You Give

Though I was raised by different parents,
At a different time--No one wants
To see a magazine cover of someone's
Naked behind.  You aren't given your body to flaunt.

Some people feel they're better
Because they're rich and famous--
Even though they've done nothing to help
Solve societies problems by showing their naked butt and bust.

The Bible says "you reap what you sow",
People say  "you get what you give".
You have to remember that what you do
Can mark your children as long as they live.

The parents can think they're
Doing something to make news and fun--
Caring parents should think and plan.
Because future generations may get picked on.

Just be the best person, parent and human
You can be.  Do worthwhile things
That will bring joy, not shame to
Your future offspring
