Troubled World

There is a lot of hate, cruelty,
And rudeness in this world today.
Some of it is due to the economy,
Terrorism, and just plain rage.

The economy is messed up
By the federal government stand-off.
People are being killed and protests and vandalism result.
The POTUS is playing lots of golf.

Terrorism is no longer just in
Other places.  Our own young people
Get brainwashed and blow up places.
There is rape and murder of the feeble.

The rage is no income---no way to
Feed your family.  The Hope and
Change promised--The Hope has died
And the Changes we can't stand.

There is still love and good
In this world--sometimes difficult
To find.  Bring us back to God
And though slowly, there will be good results.
