To: Unknown Poetry Critic

I know I'm no Shakespeare,
Keats or Longfellow.
The poems in my blog are my thoughts and feelings
And some of my friends choose to follow.

I may not get the grammar right--
And definitely not the punctuation.
But they are mine alone, last I heard
This was a free nation.

If you wish to post a comment
On one of them, that's your right.
But drawing lines through the words
I consider a rude slight.

I don't write things to harm people--
Just to make them think.
If you don't like what's written,
Don't read my blog--don't follow the link.

I don't know who you are,
Or why you do what you do.
I just know you show me no respect--
The way that I would to you.

I'm not fighting or starting a battle,
I just want my poems left
As they are.  If you don't want to leave a comment, fine
Quit following my blog which is probably best.
