Are You Thankful?

Are you thankful for what you have,
Or do you just want more?
Do your kids have enough toys,
Or do you buy out the store?

Do you pray for guidance
To help others in need?
Spread love and kindness--
And do good deeds?

Do you thank God for
Your family and friends?
Let people know you care,
And estrangements you need to mend.

Don't forget dear ones
That are no longer here.
They're having Thanksgiving
With God this year.

Be thankful you live in a country
That stands for freedom for all.
And pray we stay faithful to God--
Without Him we'll fall.
