How many women like
The fashion styles today?
Some are quite attractive, others look
Like the designers' talent took a holiday.

Huge ruffles or flounces,
Slits up to the low neckline.
The models look bored and like
They haven't eaten for some time.

Hems short on one side,
Long on the other, with fabric
Standing up on the shoulder,
Don't know why they would be picked.

Full figured women have
Fashion problems too.
Big gaudy, ugly prints or dresses with Empire
Waists that make people wonder when the baby is due.

Why can't designers
Get it through their heads?
All women want to dress like normal
Humans do--over and over this has been said.

We don't all want clothes
That leave body parts hanging out,
Not only are they tacky--
That's not what fashion should be about.

Clothes with no bodice--
Only a piece of tape.
Or sheer enough they don't need the dress,
Young stars think this is the way to make their career take shape.

It makes me sad to see
Women dress this way,
They look desperate for attention--
No matter the price they pay.
