Everyone in the world has a birthday.
Depending on their culture or the political
Situations, they may not celebrate them.
It's only fair to celebrate Christ's birthday
By saying "Merry Christmas" to all.
Every day and on Thanksgiving,
We thank Him for our blessings.
Even Santa knows Christ
Is the reason for the season--
So why are some people protesting?
I think being "politically correct"
Has been taken way too far.
You can't be yourself and say
What you believe, someone
Might get upset and start a war.
Everyone has a right to their beliefs
And not to push them on others.
Just because you don't agree, don't
Ridicule them and call them names--
Christ wouldn't want you to turn on one another.
Right now, especially with the
Situations and tensions in our world,
It's not the time to commercialize
And keep God and Jesus out of
Our hearts and lives with bombs and missiles being hurled.
