It's Okay To Cry

Don't ever let anyone tell you
It's not okay to cry.
It's not a sign of weakness--
That is a total lie.

It's a sign of strength
For both men and women.
It's also a very good
Way to ease tension.

So don't believe it
When they say men don't cry.
Or to "cowboy up", to be tough--
Everyone cries when saying goodbye.

When tragedy strikes,
Or you're full of pride--
It shows you're human
Because you cried.

People who say nothing
Makes them cry--
Have possibly been hurt so bad
They feel the need to deny.

It even says in the Bible
"Jesus wept".
If God's son cried--
Why should everyone else be exempt?
